Dunwoody Engineering Drafting & Design

Discover the tools, equipment, and skills needed in 21st century manufacturing, and launch into a career designing, drafting, or inspecting 3D-printed prototype and manufactured products.

Through hands-on projects like designing and creating a weed whip, golf putter, and motorized bicycle, you will use real manufacturing materials and processes and gain experience in the prototyping process. Learn industry-standard 3D modeling software like SolidWorks and Creo Parametric, engage in collaborative projects with other Dunwoody programs, and experience working with a multi-functional team to see a project from start to finish.

You will obtain a Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA) certification as part of your course of study, which demonstrates to employers your ready to work on day one.

This degree directly transfers into Dunwoody’s Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering Technology.
