Engineering Drawings w/SolidWorks: MDES1110 – Fall 2021
Creation of 3D solid models, assemblies and related engineering documentation using SolidWorks. Blueprint reading and application of ASME/ANSI standards to CAD drawings.

Machine Shop Fundamentals: MACH1000 – Fall 2021
Manufacturing of parts through layout and bench work, including the use of band saws, drill presses, surface grinders, manual lathes and vertical mills. Basic principles in metal-cutting technology, including threading, tapers, knurling, boring, radii cutting and milling procedures such as squaring stock, the use of rotary table and the many other milling and turning operations.

4-day FANUC Robotics Handling Tool Certification Class – January 2022 session
This course is intended for technicians and engineers who must setup, record and/or troubleshoot robotic programs using FANUC’s Handling Tool software. This course covers the robotic operations and tasks required to test, run and refine production setups. Safety procedures are integrated into all training exercises. Class size is limited to allow for maximum hands-on time. This course culminates with the opportunity to take the FANUC Handling Tool Certification Exam.

4-day Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) Level 1 Certification – January 2022
This course is intended for technicians and engineers who must setup, program and troubleshoot PLC programs using Rockwell’s RSLogix 500/5000 PLC software. This course covers control wiring, I/O setup, memory allocation and various programming instructions such as; timers, counters, math and compare. Safety procedures are integrated into all training exercises. Class size is limited to allow for maximum hands-on time. This course culminates with the opportunity to take the PMMI PLC1 Certification Exam.
